![]() Dr. Joyce D. Kenner Principal and CEO Whitney M. Young Magnet High School of Chicago A principal for the professional educator, and dedicated to providing the very best possible education for young scholars, pursuing careers in higher education among the most prestigious colleges and universities in the country... It is my hope that we (educators - in and outside of the classroom, parents and community members) will work together as a supportive family for each of our children: it does take a village to guide a child towards the development of commendable character and academic acuity. We will endeavor to stay near the cutting edge of computer information technology to enable our students to compete in the "New Economy". We will, in essence, motivate all to diligently pursue our educational goals to the fullest extent.
